Примеры:

• She is dancing $\rightarrow$ She isn't dancing
• They are swimming $\rightarrow$ They aren't swimming
• I am joking. $\rightarrow$ I am not joking. I'm not joking.
• The phone is ringing. $\rightarrow$ The phone is not ringing.
• We are waiting for the bus. $\rightarrow$ We are not waiting for the bus.

Решение

Для образования отрицательной формы в Present Continuous после вспомогательного глагола am / is / are ставится отрицательная частица not. Можно использовать как полную форму (is not, are not), так и краткую (isn't, aren't).

1. He is wearing a hat. $\rightarrow$ He is not wearing a hat (или isn't wearing a hat).
2. The sun is shining. $\rightarrow$ The sun is not shining (или isn't shining).
3. You are lying. $\rightarrow$ You are not lying (или aren't lying).
4. The baby is crying. $\rightarrow$ The baby is not crying (или isn't crying).
5. The students are talking. $\rightarrow$ The students are not talking (или aren't talking).
