7 Put the verb to be in the correct form. Use both full and short forms where possible.

В английском языке в настоящем времени (Present Simple) глагол to be имеет три формы:

• am — с местоимением I (краткая форма: 'm, отрицание: 'm not);
• is — с местоимениями he, she, it и существительными в единственном числе (краткая форма: 's, отрицание: isn't);
• are — с местоимениями we, you, they и существительными во множественном числе (краткая форма: 're, отрицание: aren't).

Обратите внимание:

• В начале вопроса всегда пишется полная форма с заглавной буквы (Am / Is / Are).
• В кратких утвердительных ответах (Yes, I am / Yes, she is) сокращения не используются.
• После существительных во множественном числе (children, banks) краткая форма глагола не употребляется.

1. I am / 'm a student of a radio-electronic college.
2. Are you at the lesson now? — No, we are not / aren't. We are / 're at the cinema.
3. The Maths home task is / 's very difficult.
4. The children are in the schoolyard playing football.
5. Is Sofia in the hospital? — Yes, she is. She is / 's ill.
6. They are / 're able students. They are / 're especially good at Literature.
7. Am I happy to have a new book as a present? Yes, I am. I love reading.
8. The banks are closed after 7 o'clock.
9. Are you a musician? — No, I am not / 'm not. I am / 'm a designer.
10. They are not / aren't good friends, they are / 're acquaintances.
